2022...it's been a rocky start.
Literally on January 1st we came down with Covid. I caught it caring for Jason and that turned into a 3 month recovery. We stepped back into the ring for the first time the beginning of April and have tried our best to make of for lost time. Stirling quickly reclamed his #1 Male spot and made AKC HISTORY as the FIRST Male Scottich Deerhound to achieve GCH GOLD status.
We just returned from the 2022 SDCA National Specialty where Team Iron Gate had a tremendous showng.
2021 to Date
WONDER TWINS SWEEP AT 2021 WESTMINSTER KENNEL CLUB DOG SHOW
Did they make breed history? It's very possible they did. They're a few people on the WKC board looking into what is archived and recorded. Likely we will publish this as "recorded history" to be as accurate as possible.

Stirling #1 Male 2020
At only 19 months old Stirling following in his father's footsteps and finished the year as the #1 male Deerhound and #2 Breed. He sired a gorgeous litter of 9 puppies who will make their ring debut early 2021.
Roslin #2 Female 2020
At only 19 months of age Roslin finishes the year the #2 female and #4 Breed. She brought home 2 OH BIS, multiple OH Group 1s and a Group 2. She is currently the #1 OH Deerhound.
Isolde
AKC Scottish Deerhound
Puppy of the Year 2020
Isolde jumped into the puppy ring and never looked back bringing home 3 Puppy Best in Show in a ROW! She has since stepped into the big ring and brought home multiple Best of Winners. At the 2020 AKC National Puppy Stakes she was awarded Scottish Deerhound Puppy of the Year.
